Fortune - a border-crossing San Diego/ Tijuana story that shows what happens when a successful La Jolla businesswoman loses a slip of paper telling her fortune, and a little girl in Tijuana picks it up, reversing their fates. Comic and heartwarming consequences give way to darker and mysterious elements as the story unfolds against a backdrop of illegal immigration and the inequities of the very different lives being led on either side of the border.

   

Flowers for Me - a romantic comedy that brings together a prison guard working on breaking the record for eating the most Big Macs, and a dissatisfied Manhattan career woman with a green thumb who moves to Wyoming to grow carnations on the farm she has inherited from her grandmother.
